10月17日、毎年恒例のキングアーティストクラブ親睦会がアサヒ スーパードライ名古屋で行われた。
これは地元で活躍しているキングレコード所属アーティストの皆さんや作詞・作曲家の皆さん、キングレコード歌謡文化アカデミーの皆さん、及び私達を含めたメディア関連の方達が、一堂に会して親睦を深めるという主旨の元で実施されている会合。
開会にあたって、キングレコードディレクター小泉氏から、「キングレコードは来年88周年を迎える。先輩方が作り上げてきた文化を継続していく中で新しいものを取り入れながら邁進して行きたい。時代が変わっても楽曲を作る側は、良い作品、良い音楽、良い歌をお客様に夢や感動を与えられることを基本ベースに、これからも皆さんと一緒に手をとりあって歩んでいきたい」」と挨拶。
カラオケ情報誌エースの木戸社長は、「皆様のおかげでエースは30周年を迎える。これも偏に皆様のお力添えの賜物。音楽業界がさらに盛り上がることを祈念して乾杯！」と音頭をとった。
食事と歓談を楽しんだあとは、歌の披露はなかったが、地元歌手の皆さんが各自一人30秒間、ステージにあがって自己PR。またお楽しみ抽選会もあって、大変な賑わいとなった。
最後は、キングアーティストクラブ事務局の坂本氏が「昨年（2017年12月）、キングレコードから３名の演歌歌手が紅白歌合戦に出場。このパワーを感じていただいて今後とも更なる飛躍を祈願したい」と挨拶して一本締めにて締め納めた。

An annual King artist club gathering party was held on 17th October at Asahi Super Dry Nagoya.
This is a group of King record artists who are active locally, lyrics and composers, everyone of King Record Kayo Culture Academy, and media related people including us gathered together to have a fellowship Meeting being implemented under the principle of deepening.
King Record Director Koizumi said, "King Record will celebrate the 88th anniversary next year.While seniors continue to cultivate, we will continue to push forward while taking in new things. I would like to continue working with you on the basis of being able to give dreams and excitement to customers, good works, good music, good songs on the side of making music, I will continue walking with you ".
Karaoke information magazine president Kido said, "Thanks to everyone, Ace will celebrate its 30th anniversary, this is also a devoted gift from all of you, a toast to pray for the music industry to be even more exciting!" .
After having enjoyed meals and chatting, there was no song presentation, but local singers each self-raised to the stage for 30 seconds each, and self-PR. There was also a lottery fun and it was a huge crowd.
