トランプはアホだ！
かつて私は、アメリカ大統領は偉大で聡明な人物だと考えていた。
ところが最近は、アメリカ大統領はアホだと思えるようになってきた。
８月26日に公開された閣議において、トランプは自身の政策成果を述べた後、閣僚らに意見を求めた。バンス副大統領は「大統領のリーダーシップの下で仕事ができて光栄です」、ベッセント財務長官は「わが国はかつてないほど安全な状態にあります。あなたのおかげです」、ウィトコフ特使は「あなたがノーベル平和賞史上最高の候補者です」と、いずれも過剰な称賛を述べた。
これらの過剰な称賛を聞くと、閣僚たちもアホに見えてきた。
トランプに媚びへつらい、彼に異議を唱えることなく追従する人物で閣僚が占めている現状を深く憂慮している。本当に彼らにアメリカのリーダーシップを託せるのだろうか、と疑問を抱かざるを得ない。
また、トランプは米国総務省の名称を「戦争省」に改名する大統領令に署名したと報じられている。戦争は決して繰り返してはならないという過去の苦い経験を踏まえれば、戦争を助長するような名称変更は望ましくない。そのようなトランプがなぜ史上最高のノーベル平和賞候補者なのか。
さらに、トランプは高関税と大型減税がアメリカを救済し、アメリカを強くする政策であると自覚自賛しているが、関税収入の増加が見込めるとしても、高関税は自由貿易を求める国々の連帯と協力を強めるため、アメリカを孤立させる可能性を秘めている。長期的に見れば、高関税政策は行き詰まり、大型減税法案によりアメリカの財政赤字が拡大するのではないだろうか。
私は、関税政策の見直しと、大企業への増税を通じてその恩恵を国民に還元することが、最も効果的な方策であると考える。現在の高関税は、大企業に過度な負担を強いるものであり、実質的には大型増税と同様の効果をもたらしていると言えるのではないだろうか。
ウクライナ戦争の終結に関しては、トランプは２期政権就任前に「24時間で戦争を終わらせてみせる」と豪語したが、プーチンとの友好関係ゆえに、領土割譲案をプーチンに提示するだけで戦争を終わらせられるとでも考えていたのだろうか。もしそうだとしたら本当にアホとしかいいようがない。
プーチンを天才と呼び、プーチンを尊敬していると言っているトランプにはプーチンの野望が全く理解できないのだろう。
トランプ自身が領土拡大を目論んでいるので、プーチンの侵略行為をきっと心の中で容認しているのに違いない。
また、トランプが連邦準備制度理事会（FRB）や民間企業に圧力をかけ、国家統制を強めようとする姿勢は、民主主義を大きく損なうものだ。
トランプの不法移民の取り締まりも行き過ぎていると感じる。昨日、韓国の現代自動車の電池工場で475人が不法就労の疑いで拘束されたとの報道があった。同工場は韓国による巨額対米投資の象徴であり、今回の件は韓国の対米投資に冷や水を浴びせることになり、今後の動向が懸念される。
さらに、トランプが世界屈指の名門大学であるハーバード大学への助成金を打ち切ったり、留学生の入国を制限する政策は、頭脳流出を招き、将来的にアメリカの弱体化につながると危惧している。
こうした状況の中、アメリカをトランプのような愚か者の手に委ねるわけにはいかないという思いが、日増しに強まっている。

Concerns about the Trump Administration : Where Does America's Future Lead?
Trump is an idiot!
I used to think the American president was a great and intelligent man.
However, recently I've begun to think the American president is an idiot.
At a cabinet meeting made public on August 26, Trump outlined his policy achievements and then asked his cabinet members for their opinions. Vice President Vance offered excessive praise, saying, "It's an honor to work under your leadership," Treasury Secretary Bessent said, "Our country has never been safer, thanks to you," and Special Envoy Witkoff said, "You are the best candidate in the history of the Nobel Peace Prize."
Hearing these excessive praises, the cabinet members also seem idiots.
I am deeply concerned about the current situation, where the cabinet is filled with people who flatter Trump and follow him without challenging him. I can't help but question whether we can really entrust American leadership to them.
Trump also reportedly signed an executive order renaming the U.S. Department of General Affairs to the "Department of War." Given the bitter experience of the past, which shows that war must never be repeated, changing the name to one that encourages war is undesirable. Why is Trump, such a person, the best candidate in history for the Nobel Peace Prize?
Furthermore, Trump is aware and proud that high tariffs and large tax cuts are policies that will save and strengthen America. However, even if tariff revenues are expected to increase, high tariffs could potentially isolate America, as they lead to countries seeking free trade strengthening solidarity and cooperation. In the long term, high tariff policies will likely be a dead end, and large tax cut bills will likely widen the US fiscal deficit.
I believe the most effective solution would be to review tariff policy and pass on the benefits to the public by raising taxes on large corporations. Current high tariffs impose an excessive burden on large corporations and, in essence, have the same effect as a large tax increase.
Regarding the end of the Ukraine war, before taking office for his second term, Trump boasted that he would "end the war in 24 hours." But perhaps he thought that because of his friendly relationship with Putin, he could end the war by simply presenting his territorial cession proposal to Putin. If so, he is truly an idiot.
Trump calls Putin a genius and professes great respect for him, but he likely cannot understand Putin's ambitions at all.
Because Trump himself is seeking territorial expansion, he must secretly condone Putin's acts of aggression.
Furthermore, Trump's pressure on the Federal Reserve and private companies and his attempts to strengthen state control are a major undermine of democracy.
I also feel that Trump's crackdown on illegal immigrants is going too far. Yesterday, reports emerged that 475 people were detained at a Hyundai Motor battery factory in South Korea on suspicion of illegal employment. The factory is a symbol of South Korea's massive investment in the United States, and this has poured cold water on that investment. Future developments are of concern.
Furthermore, there are concerns that Trump's policies of cutting funding to Harvard University, one of the world's most prestigious universities, and restricting the entry of international students into the country will lead to a brain drain and weaken America in the future.
For all of this, the feeling that we cannot leave America in the hands of an idiot like Trump is growing stronger with each passing day.
