トランプとプーチンの蜜月：ウクライナへの圧力と民主主義への脅威
昨日、トランプは、「ウクライナは戦争を口実に選挙を実施していない」と発言した。
一方プーチンは、選挙で選ばれていないゼレンスキーとは交渉できないと主張し、ウクライナに選挙実施を要求している。これは、反ロシア色が薄い候補者を当選させ、ロシアに有利な和平合意を狙っている意図が透けて見える。
プーチンこそ、不正選挙で当選した人物であるにもかかわらず、このような発言をするのは極めて遺憾だ。
従ってトランプとプーチンが蜜月関係にあることは明白だ。
トランプは、ロシアが求めるウクライナの領土割譲と、米国が「安全の保証」を担保するという和平案を受諾するよう、ゼレンスキーに圧力をかけている。これは、ロシアに敗北を認めるようなものであり、非常に受け入れがたい要求だ。
さらに、米国ではトランプ政権によるメディア弾圧が深刻化している。政権に都合の悪い報道を攻撃し、ジャーナリストを萎縮させる行為は、民主主義に反する。トランプこそ、民主主義の破壊者であるにもかかわらず、なぜゼレンスキーが民主主義に反する大統領だと批判するのかは、不可解で理解に苦しむ。
このままトランプの意向通りに世界が動いていかないことを切に願うばかりである。

Trump and Putin's Honeymoon: Pressure on Ukraine and the Threat to Democracy
Yesterday, President Trump used the Ukraine war as an excuse to claim that there would be no presidential election in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Putin insists that he cannot negotiate with Zelensky, who is unelected, and is demanding that Ukraine hold elections. This clearly shows his desire to elect a candidate with a weak anti-Russian stance and reach a peace agreement favorable to Russia.
It is extremely regrettable that Putin would make such a statement, given that he was elected through a fraudulent election.
Therefore, it is clear that Trump and Putin have a close relationship.
Trump is pressuring Zelensky to accept a peace plan that requires Ukraine to cede territory as demanded by Russia and that the United States provide "security guarantees." This is tantamount to admitting defeat to Russia and is an extremely unacceptable demand.
Furthermore, the Trump administration's crackdown on the media is becoming more serious in the United States. Attacking reporting that is unfavorable to the administration and intimidating journalists is anti-democratic. It is puzzling and difficult to understand why people criticize Zelensky as an anti-democratic president, when Trump himself is the very destroyer of democracy.
I sincerely hope that the world does not continue to move according to Trump's wishes.
