地球温暖化対策の重要性とトランプ政権への提言
トランプは「地球温暖化は科学者の嘘である」と主張し、地球温暖化対策に消極的な姿勢を示している。石炭産業の復活や、大量の排気ガスを排出するアメリカ車の発展を推進する方針でいる。
しかしながら、近年の毎年夏の記録的な猛暑は、地球温暖化の紛れもない現実を如実に示している。地球温暖化対策は、もはや人類にとって待ったなしの喫緊の課題である。
トランプ政権発足後、世界各地で脱炭素に向けた設備投資計画の中止や遅延が相次いでいる。
例えば、
○ 関西電力、岩谷産業、丸紅はオーストラリア最大のグリーン水素プロジェクトから撤退。
○ 欧州アルセロール・ミタルはドイツで水素を使った製鉄設備の導入を中止。
○ 米ブラックロックは脱炭素を目指す国際的な運用会社連合から脱退。
これらは看過できない由々しき事態である。
トランプは、現状が良ければそれで良いと考えているのだろうか？
子孫繁栄を真剣に考えた上で、政策を転換し、積極的に地球温暖化対策に取り組んで欲しい。それができないようであれば、大統領を辞任して欲しいと強く願う。

Trump claims that "global warming is a lie by scientists" and has taken a passive stance on global warming countermeasures. He supports the revival of the coal industry and the development of American cars, which emit large amounts of exhaust gas.
However, the phenomenon of record-breaking temperatures every summer in recent years demonstrates the undeniable reality of global warming. Combating global warming is now an urgent issue for humanity.
Since the Trump administration took office, there have been a series of cancellations and delays of capital investment plans aimed at decarbonization around the world.
For example:
○ Kansai Electric Power, Iwatani Corporation, and Marubeni Corporation have withdrawn from Australia's largest green hydrogen project.
○ Europe's ArcelorMittal has canceled the installation of a hydrogen-powered steelmaking facility in Germany.
○ US-based BlackRock has withdrawn from an international consortium of asset managers aiming for decarbonization.
These are serious developments that cannot be ignored.
Does Trump believe that the status quo is good enough?
I hope that he will seriously consider the prosperity of future generations, change his policies, and proactively tackle global warming. If he is unable to do so, I strongly urge him to resign as president.
